In contrast to simple weaving techniques, which suffice in having a normal warp and weft structure, our natural weave fabrics incorporate a 3rd dimension: the precious natural hair fibre is woven vertically into the cotton basic warp and weft structure. And it is precisely this type of weaving that is able to reflect the true character of the original animal coat. A thick three- dimensional fabric is the result and closely resembles the natural coat of the animals.

Since 1901 Reinhard Schulte GmbH of Duisburg has been producing woven fabrics out of natural hair fibres. Due to over 100 years of experience in the manufacturing and processing of natural woven fabrics, Schulte succeeded in becoming one of the worldwide leading manufacturers of woven textiles.
